Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un catalizador de metaloceno que contiene un metal de transición del grupo 4 o 5 de la tabla periódica, el cual es soportado por medios de soporte catalítico híbrido con grupos orgánicos alifáticos. Un proceso para soportar metaloceno en estos medios de soporte catalítico híbrido con grupos orgánicos alifáticos también se describe. La principal ventaja del catalizador metaloceno soportado de la presente invención es que un polímero de etileno con distribución de masa molar amplia o bimodal se produce usando solamente un tipo del complejo de metaloceno en los medios de soporte. Como un resultado, la resma producida puede ser procesada de una manera mejorada, lo cual consecuentemente costos de procesamiento potencialmente disminuidos.
