Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con composiciones y métodos no contaminantes para eliminar o suprimir iones metálicos en agua, aguas de retorno y aguas producidas para hacer que estas aguas sean adecuadas para uso posterior en aplicaciones de yacimientos petrolíferos y para separar los agentes gelificantes reticulados metálicos. Una modalidad de la presente invención, proporciona un método para proporcionar un aglutinante competitivo y permitir que el aglutinante competitivo interactúe con los iones metálicos interferentes en un fluido de retorno para suprimir o eliminar los iones metálicos interferentes.
