Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso de síntesis del compuesto (±)-ambrox a partir del compuesto (±) 13,14,15,16-tetranor-8a,12-labdanodiol, el proceso comprende los pasos de: a) disolver el compuesto (±) 13,14,15,16-tetranor-8a,12-Iabdanodiol en un disolvente orgánico; b) adicionar BF3.OEt2 para obtener (±)-ambrox; y c) remover el disolvente orgánico.
