Abstract

Se describen un proceso y un aparato para la recuperación de etano, etileno, propano, propileno, y componentes de hidrocarburos más pesados de una corriente de gas de hidrocarburo. La corriente se divide en la primera y segunda corrientes. La primera corriente es enfriada para condensar sustancialmente todo de la misma, expandida a la presión inferior, y suministrada a una torre de fraccionamiento en una posición superior de alimentación de la mitad de la columna. La segunda corriente se enfría lo suficiente para condensarla parcialmente y se separa en corrientes de vapor y líquido. La corriente de vapor se divide en primera y segunda porciones. La primera porción se enfría para condensar sustancialmente todo de la misma, expandida a la presión de la torre, y suministrada a la torre en la posición de alimentación superior. La segunda porción es expandida a la presión de la torre y suministrada a la torre de fraccionamiento en una posición de alimentación de la mitad de la columna intermedia. La corriente líquida es expandida a la presión de la torre y suministrada a la columna en una posición inferior de alimentación de la mitad de la columna. Las cantidades y temperaturas de las alimentaciones a la torre de fraccionamiento son eficaces para mantener la temperatura de cabeza de la torre de fraccionamiento a una temperatura mediante la cual la porción principal de los componentes deseados es recuperada.
