Abstract
Se revelan péptidos que inducen una respuesta activa de la planta, pero no una respuesta de hipersensibilidad, cuando se aplica a un tejido vegetal. Estos péptidos también exhiben preferentemente mayor solubilidad, estabilidad, resistencia a degradación química o una combinación de estas propiedades. También se revela el uso de estos péptidos o polipéptidos de fusión o constructos de ADN que los codifican, para modular la señalización bioquímica de la planta, impartir resistencia a las enfermedades a plantas, mejorar el crecimiento de las plantas, impartir tolerancia al estrés biótico, impartir tolerancia y resistencia al estés abiótico, impartir resistencia a la desecación a esquejes retirados de plantas ornamentales, impartir resistencia a la enfermedad poscosecha o resistencia a la resistencia a la desecación poscosecha a una fruta u hortaliza o mejorar la longevidad de la maduración de la fruta u hortaliza.
