Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para la prolongacion de la duracion de la validez de smart cards ("tarjetas inteligentes", sin que su propietario tenga que desprenderse de ellas. Para ello de los usuarios de smart cards utilizan unos aparatos de escritura/lectura instalados proximos, que prolongan la fecha de validez de la smart card, a través de unas contraseñas de prolongacion comunicadas a los propietarios desde un punto central de distribucion.
