Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para sobremoldeo de un vidrio (1), en particular, un vidrio curvado para vehiculos automoviles por inyeccion de un material plastico o reactivo sobre al menos una parte particularmente periferica del vidrio. El metodo de la invencion consiste en colocar un vidrio en un molde que comprende al menos una junta de hermeticidad (6) que describe los limites de sobremoldeo. La junta de hermeticidad esta ejemplificada en la forma de una banda perfilada que es insertada en una muesca (8) de un molde (3) y mantenida por contacto friccional y/o por acoplamiento de formas complementarias y/o por adhesion al menos a una pared (12) de la muesca (8) y tiene un modulo de Young que es del orden de 30 hasta 400 MPa. Tambien se describen una junta que muestra tales propiedades y un molde provisto con ella.
