Abstract

A CABLE SEALING DEVICE IS DISCLOSED AND IT COMPRISES TWO HOLLOW SEALING RING (1, 1?) EACH SEALING RING HAVING A RIBBED (1B, 1?B) CYLINDRICAL OUTER SURFACE, AND A TAPERED INTERNAL BORE (1A, 1?A). THE SEALING RING (1, 1?) ARE PLACED END TO-END, WITH THEIR INTERNAL BORES (1D, 1?D) IN AXIAL ALIGMENT. THEY ARE HELD TOGETHER BY A COMPRESSING MEANS COMPRESSING TWO COUPLING (2, 2?) AND FOUR BOLTS (3). (FIG. 2)
