Abstract

A PRINTING PRESS INCLUDES A PRINTING PLATE DETACHABLY MOUNTED ON A PLATE CYLINDER BY A SURFACE TYPE FASTENER. THE SURFACE- TYPE FASTENER IS COMPOSED OF A LOOPED FASTENER SHEET SECURED TO A PERIPHERAL SURFACE OF THE PLATE CYLINDER AND A HOOKED FASTENER SHEET SECURED TO THE BACK OF THE PRINTING PLATE. WITH THE USE OF THE SURFACE- TYPE FASTENER, THE REPLACEMENT OF THE PRINTING PLATE CAN BE CARRIED OUT QUICKLY AND EASILY, THEREBY INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PRINTING PRESS. (FIG. 2)
