Abstract

AN OUTER CASE OF AN INSULATION CABINET FOR REFRIGERATED STORAGE/ DISPLAY CASE IS DISCLOSED. THE OUTER CASE COMPRISES A FRAME-WORK (10) INCLUDING A PAIR OF SIDE PANELS (11, 12), A BOTTOM PANEL (13) AND A CROSSBEAM (14), AN UPPER PANEL (20) AND A REAR PANEL (21) BOTH OF WHICH ARE FORMED BY A SINGLE SHEET AND COVER THE UPPER AND REAR SIDE PORTIONS OF THE FRAME-WORK (10). UPPER EDGES OF THE SIDE PANELS (11, 12) ARE FORMED AS FLANGE PORTIONS (11A, 12A) TO BENT INWARDLY, AND PROVIDED WITH RECEIVING PORTIONS (11A'', 12A''). INNER TERMINAL EDGE OF CROSSBEAM (14) IS PROVIDED WITH RECEIVING PORTION (14A''). THE FRONT EDGE PORTION OF THE UPPER PANEL (20) IS FORMED WITH A STEP PORTION (20A) TO OPPOSE THE RECEIVING PORTION (14A'') OF THE CROSSBEAM (14). BOTH THE SIDE EDGES OF THE SIDE PANELS (11, 12) ARE ALSO PROVIDED WITH BENT PORTIONS (20B, 20C) TO OPPOSE THE RECEIVING PORTIONS (11A'', 12A'') OF THE SIDE PANELS (11, 12). THE CONNECTED PORTION BETWEEN THE RECEIVING PORTION (14A'') OF THE CROSSBEAM (14) AND THE STEP PORTION (20A) OF THE UPPER PANEL (20), AND BETWEEN THE RECEIVING PORTIONS (11A'', 12A'') OF THE SIDE PANELS (11, 12) AND BENT PORTIONS (20B, 20C) OF THE UPPER PORTION (20) ARE SECURED BY SCREWS (22) WHICH ARE FIXED THROUGH THE REAR PANEL.(FIG 2)
