Abstract
A HEATER COIL COILING MACHINE IS DISCLOSED WHICH IS CONSTITUTED SUCH THAT A MANDRIL (2) IS ROTATABLY RECEIVED INTO A BORE (1B) OF A SLEEVE (1) ON WHICH A PAIR OF INSERTING GROOVES (1A) ARE FORMED ON THE OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE OUTER CIRCUMFERENTIAL SURFACE THEREOF, A WIRE STOCK IS INSERTED INTO A SUPPORTING GROOVE (2A) OF THE MANDRIL (2), THE SLEEVE (1) WITH THE MANDRIL (2) INSERTED IS INSERTED INTO A COILING HOLE (3A) OF A DIE (3), AND THE SLEEVE (1) AND THE MANDRIL (2) ARE RELATIVELY ROTATED; AND IS FURTHER CHARACTERIZED IN THAT THE TWO INSERTING GROOVES (1A) FORMED ON THE OUTER CIRCUMFERENTIAL SURFACE OF THE SLEEVE (1) ARE MUTUALLY SYMMETRICAL, AND HAVE A U SHAPED CROSS SECTION. THE HEATER COIL MANUFACTURED BY THE COILING MACHINE OF THE PRESENT INVENTION WILL HAVE THE REQUIRED DIMENSIONS WITHIN THE PERMITTED TOLERANCES, AND ITS LEGS (4) WILL NOT BE TWISTED. FURTHER, THE INITIAL DEFORMATIONS ARE VERY SLIGHT, AND THEREFORE, FURTHER DEFORMATIONS WILL NOT OCCUR WHEN UNDERGOING THE POST STEPS, WITH THE RESULT THAT THE YIELD OF THE HEATER COIL IS MARKEDLY IMPROVED.
