Abstract

A PRESSURE-CONTACT TYPE CONNECTOR HAS A MALE CONNECTOR AND A FEMALE CONNECTOR. ONE OF THE MALE CONNECTOR AND THE FEMALE CONNECTOR HAS A MOVABLE CONTACT COMPRISING A MOVABLE PIN AND A SPRING PRESSING THE MOVABLE PIN IN A PROTRUDING DIRECTION OF THE PIN. THE OTHER ONE OF THE MALE CONNECTOR AND FEMALE CONNECTOR HAS A STABLE CONTACT CONFRONTING THE MOVABLE PIN. EITHER THE MOVABLE PIN OR THE STABLE CONTACT IS FORMED IN A SHAPE OF CONCAVE AND ANOTHER IS IN A CONVEX SHAPE ENGAGING WITH THE CONCAVE OF THE STABLE CONTACT. THE CONTACTING SURFACE OF THE STABLE CONTACT IS SET BACK FROM A SURFACE OF AN INSULATOR IN WHICH THE STABLE CONTACT IS BURIED. (FIG. 1)
