Abstract

AN ADHESIVE ROLL TAPE CUTTING APPARATUS INCLUDING A BASE, A PAIR OF SUPPORT PLATES MOUNTED ON THE BASE, A ROTATABLE ROLLER AND A CUTTING ROLLER FOR CUTTING A ROLL TAPE IS DISCLOSED. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPARATUS, THE ROTATABLE ROLLER MOUNTED BETWEEN SUPPORT PLATE COMPRISES A PLURALITY OF ARMS FORMED CIRCUMFERENTIALLY THEREON, SHOTER AND LONGER LENGTH OF ADHESIVE FACES AND A CUTTING GROOVE FORMED BETWEEN ADHESIVE FACE, SAID ROTATABLE ROLLER HAVING A DRIVE GEAR AND A ROTATABLE KNOB MOUNTED COAXIALLY THEREWITH FOR THE ROTATABLE ROLLER. THE ROLL TAPE CUTTING APPARATUS COMPRISES TWO CUTTING SECTIONS WHEREIN ONE SECTION SERVES TO CUT THE ROLL TAPE UNIFORMLY IN LENGTH WHILE THE OTHER SECTION SERVES TO CUT THE ROLL TAPE OPTIONALLY IN LENGTH. IN PARTICULAR, WITH THE FIRST SECTION, A LARGE NUMBER OF THE ROLL TAPE PIECES OF SAME LENGTH ARE PRODUCED AT A TIME SUITABLE TO USE IN FACILITIES REQUIRING SPEEDY AND NEATY PACKAGE SUCH AS A DEPARTMENT STORE AND THE LIKE.
