HORIZONTAL ANCHOR RODS (4) SECURED TO THE REVETMENT RODS EXTEND REARWARDLY THEREFROM AND ARE EMBEDDED IN THE BACKFILL (1) TO STABILIZE THE REVETMENT (R). ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR RODS (4) ALLOW TENSION TO BE SELECTIVELY APPLIED TO THE REVETMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALIGNMENT. (FIG. 1)
