Abstract
A PROCESS FOR THE CONTROLLED OXIDATION OF ETHANE IN THE VAPOUR PHASE WITH A GAS COMPRISING OXYGEN TO A MIXTURE OF ETHYLENE AND ACETIC ACID, WHEREIN THE REACTION IS PERFORMED. A)IN THE PRESENCE OF A CATALYST COMPOSITION COMPRISING A CATALYST COMPRISING VANADIUM, PHOSPHORUS AND OXYGEN DEPOSITED ON A SUPPORT BASED ON TITANIUM OXIDE, AND B) AT A TOTAL PRESSURE MEASURED AT 25?C, OF NOT LESS THAN 2 BAR (2 X 105 Pa) RELATIVE.
