COLOUR PRINTED GLASS SLABS FOR WALLS AND FLOORS ARE MADE BY PRINTING ON A GLASS PLATE (I) A COLOURED IMAGE (2), PREPARING A LIGHT, MOULDED FOAM SLAB OF MAGNESIA (4), ADHERING THE GLASS (1) TO THE FOAM SLAB (4) USING AN ADHESIVE (3) AND CHAMFERING THE RESULTANT PRODUCT.THE PROCESS EMPLOYS OFFSET PRINTING TECHNOLOGY WHICH CAN PRINT A PHOTOGRAPHIC PATTERN ON THE GLASS PLATE WITH 95% FINE AND DENSE DOTS, REPRODUCING COLOUR LANDSCAPE SCENES. THE PROCESS DOES NOT INVOLVE HIGH TEMPERATURE SINTERING IN A KILN, SO THE PRODUCT IS FREE FROM CRACKS. (FIG. 1)
