A VESSEL (10) FOR CULTURING FISH INCLUDES MEANS (26,28,30) FOR INJECTING GAS INTO THE WATER (18) SO AS TO INDUCE A CIRCULATORY MOTION IN THE WATER. THIS MOTION PROMOTES SETTLEMENT OF SOLID WASTE, WHICH CAN BE READILY COLLECTED FROM THE BASE (14,22) OF THE VESSEL. THE GAS INJECTION HAS A SECONDARY FUNCTION OF OXYGENATING THE WATER. THE ARRANGEMENT MAINTAINS THE WATER CLEAN AND FRESH FOR THE HEALTH AND GROWTH OF THE FISH.(FIG. 1)
