A LEVER (1) WHICH DETECTS THE ERASE-PROTECTION FINGER (51) OF A CASSETTE (50), HAVING A MIDDLE PORTION OF SAID LEVER (1) PIVOTED ON A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (100), A FIRST ARM PORTION (2) OF SAID LEVER (1) IN CONTACT WITH A POSITION SHAPED ON SAID CASSETTE (50) AS AN ERASE-PROTECTION FINGER (51), A SECOND ARM PORTION (3) OF SAID LEVER (1) HAVING A TIP DETECTING THE EXISTENCE OF SAID ERASE- PROTECTION FINGER (51), SWITCHING A DETECTING SWITCH (70); CHARACTERISED IN THAT SAID FIRST ARM PORTION (2) AND SAID SECOND ARM PORTION (3) ARE SEPARATED FROM EACH OTHER, SAID BOTH ARM PORTIONS (2, 3) BEING PIVOTALLY CONNECTED, SAID FIRST ARM PORTION (2) BEING PIVOTED ON A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (100), AND BOTH SAID ARM PORTIONS (2, 3) BEING CONNECTED INTEGRALLY WITH A COMPRESSING SPRING (4).(FIG.1)
