TO PROVIDE AN LEAKAGE-RESPONSIVE CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH IMPROVED ASSEMBLY CHARACTERISTICS IN THAT ASSEMBLY OF THE ZERO-PHASE CURRENT TRANSFORMER CAN BE CARRIED OUT SEPARATELY FROM THE MOVABLE-CONTACTOR SIDE. TERMINAL PLATE(21 A), OF WHICH POWER-SUPPLY-SIDE CONNECTION TERMINAL(20A)IS COMPRISED, IS CONNECTED BY WELDING OR BRAZING AT DOWNWARD-FACING MEMBER(21 D)WHICH PROTRUDES OUTWARD TOWARD THE INTERIOR OF HOUSING (10) FROM TERMINAL BRACKET( 22) TO THE OTHER END OF BRAIDED LINE (103) WHICH PASSES THROUGH THE THROUGH-HOLE OF THE TOROIDAL CORE OF ZERO-PHASE CURRENT TRANSFORMER CT DESCRIBED HEREIN FOR SENSING OF LEAK CURRENT. THE OTHER END OF THIS BRAIDED LINE( 103> IS CONNECTED BY WELDING OR BRAZING THE ONE END AT UPPER MEMBER 31 B OF FIXED CONTACTOR (31).(FIG 1)
