A RUBBER- MODIFIED STYRENIC RESIN COMPOSITION COMPRISES (A) A CONTINUOUS PHASE OF A STYRENIC RESIN HAVING A WEIGHT-AVERAGE MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF 100,000 TO 160,000 AND (B) RUBBERY POLYMER PARTICLES DISPERSED IN THE CONTINUOUS PHASE, CONTAINING OCCLUDENT PARTICLES IN WHICH THE STYRENIC RESIN IS OCCLUDED AND HAVING SPECIFIC PROPERTIES. THE COMPOSITION MAINTAINS HIGH STIFFNESS, HAS EXCELLENT IMPACT RESISTANCE AND GLOSS AND SHOWS GOOD FLOW PROPERTY.
