Abstract

DISCLOSED IS AN ADHESIVE TAPE COMPRISING A CARRIER FILM SANDWICHED BETWEEN TWO LAYERS OF A FULLY IMIDIZED THERMOPLASTIC POLYIMIDESILOXANE ADHESIVE. THE TAPE IS MADE BY FORMING A SOLUTION IN A SOLVENT OF A FULLY IMIDIZED THERMOPLASTIC POLYIMIDESILOXANE ADHESIVE, APPLYING SAID SOLUTION TO BOTH SURFACES OF A CARRIER FILM, AND EVAPORATING THE SOLVENT.
