Abstract

THE INVENTION RELATES TO A MOTOR-OPERATED MECHANISM FOR MEDIUM-VOLTAGE SWITCH GEAR AND SWITCHING STATIONS, MAINLY BASED ON A SWITCHING SPRING ACTING ON AN ACTUATING SHAFT AND MOVABLE THROUGH A DEAD CENTRE POSITION, AND AN OPERATING MECHANISM ACTING ON THE ACTUATING SHAFT VIA GEARING AND A COUPLING WITH FREE TRAVEL. IT SOLVES THE PROBLEM OF THE SPACE-SAVING ARRANGEMENT OF SUCH A MOTOR-OPERATED MECHANISM WHILST ENABLING MANUAL ACTUATION WITH SIMULTANEOUS DECOUPLING FROM THE MOTOR. THE TASK IS IMPLEMENTED AS FOLLOWS: A GEARING ELEMENT IS DESIGNED TO SERVE ALSO AS A COUPLING ELEMENT WITH PREDETERMINED FREE TRAVEL; THE COUPLING ELEMENTS CAN BE DECOUPLED BY AN ACTUATING ELEMENT (22) WHICH ALSO SERVES FOR ROTATION OF THE ACTUATING SHAFT (1) .
