Abstract

AN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION EQUIPMENT, IN PARTICULAR AUTOMATIC SWITCH BOXES, CUTOUT BOXES, SMALL FEEDER BOXES AND/OR THE LIKE, HAVING A BOX-SHAPED CASING (20) WHICH HAS IN ITS INTERIOR BEARING FLANGES FOR HOLDING ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, AS WELL AS THE NECESSARY TERMINAL STRIPES (29) FOR WIRING,. THE INSTALLATION EQUIPMENT IS ALSO FITTED WITH CABLE FEEDS WHICH ARE PROVIDED ON AT LEAST ONE FRONT END OF THE CASING (20). ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT INVENTION A RECESS (28) IS PROVIDED IN THE VICINITY OF THE CABLE FEEDS, WHICH IS OPEN ON THE SIDE NEAR THE FEEDING CABLES, WHICH IS SEALED OFF TO THE INTERIOR OF THE CASING BY A PLATE (31) WITH CABLE FEED SEALS, AND WHERE THESE CABLE FEED SEALS ARE MADE OF A SOFT, ELASTIC SYNTHETIC MATERIAL, WHEREAS THE PLATE IS CONSTRUCTED OF A HARD MATERIAL, AND THE CABLE FEED SEALS ARE EXTRUDED FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE PLATES THROUGH A THROUGHHOLE IN THE PLATE (31).
