A COIN ACCUMULATION APPARATUS INCLUDES A COIN SORTING SECTION, A COIN SENSOR, A COIN ACCUMULATION SECTION, A COIN RETURN SECTION, A SORTING LEVER, A MAGNET, AND A CONTROL CIRCUIT . THE COIN SORTING SECTION SORTS COINS INSERTED FROM A COIN SLOT INTO AN AUTHENTIC COIN AND A COUNTERFIET COIN. THE COINS INCLUDE FIRST AND SECOND COINS. THE COIN SENSOR IS ARRANGED IN A COIN PATH FROM THE COIN SLOT TO THE COIN SORTING SECTION.THE COIN ACCUMULATION SECTION ACCUMULATES THE AUTHENTIC COIN. THE COIN RETURN SECTION RETURNS THE COUNTERFIET COIN. THE SORTING LEVER DISTRIBUTES THE INSERTED COIN TO ONE OF THE COIN ACCUMULATION SECTION AND THE COIN RETURN SECTION ON THE BASIS OF A SORTING RESULT BY THE COIN SORTING SECTION. THE MAGNET DRIVES THE SORTING LEVER. THE CONTROL CIRCUIT STARTS DRIVING THE MAGNET WHEN THE COIN SORTING SECTION DETERMINES THAT THE FIRST COIN IS AN AUTHENTIC COIN. WHEN THE SECOND COIN FOLLOWING THE FIRST COIN IS DETECTED BY THE COIN SENSOR WITHIN A PREDETERMINED TIME FROM THE START OF DRIVING TO THE START OF AN OPERATION OF THE SORTING LEVER, THE CONTROL CIRCUIT IMMEDIATELY STOPS DRIVING THE MAGNET, THEREBY DISTRIBUTING THE FIRST AND SECOND COINS TO THE RETURN SECTION.
