Abstract
IN A PROCESS FOR PREPARING ALDEHYDES BY HYDROFORMYLATION OF OLEFINS WITH CO/H2 IN THE PRESENCE OF COMPLEXES OF TRANSITION METALS OF GROUP VIII OF THE PERIODIC TABLE OF THE ELEMENTS CONTAINING PHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS AS LIGANDS AT UP TO 200°C AND PRESSURES OF UP TO 700 BAR, THE CATALYSTS USED HAVE Å3, O2-PHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS CAPABLE OF COMPLEX FORMATION AS LIGANDS. NEW PHOSPHABENZENES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
