IN A METHOD FOR DRILLING, IN PARTICULAR IMPACT DRILLING OR ROTARY PERCUSSION DRILLING, AND LINING HOLES IN SOIL OR ROCK MATERIAL, WHEREIN A DRILL HOLE (13) IS FORMED BY MEANS OF A DRILL BIT (1, 2, 3) MOUNTED ON A DRILL ROD ASSEMBLY (9) BY A PERCUSSIVE AND/OR ROTARY MOVEMENT AND A LINING IS FORMED BY MEANS OF A JACKET TUBE (5), IT IS PROVIDED THAT WITH THE ADVANCE MOVEMENT DURING DRILLING AT LEAST ONE JACKET TUBE (5, 5') COUPLED WITH THE DRILL BIT (1, 2, 3) IS INTRODUCED INTO THE DRILL HOLE (13) IN THE AXIAL DIRECTION BY MEANS OF THE DRILL BIT (1, 2, 3) BY TENSILE ACTION AND THAT AFTER COMPLETION OF THE DRILLING PROCEDURE THE DRILL BIT (3) IS REMOVED FROM THE JACKET TUBE (5, 5') AT LEAST PARTIALLY TOGETHER WITH THE DRILL ROD ASSEMBLY (9). FURTHERMORE, IN A DEVICE FOR DRILLING, IN PARTICULAR IMPACT DRILLING OR ROTARY PERCUSSION DRILLING, AND LINING HOLES IN SOIL OR ROCK MATERIAL, WHEREIN A DRILL BIT (1, 2, 3) MOUNTED ON DRILL ROD ASSEMBLY (9) MAKES A DRILL HOLE BY A PERCUSSIVE AND/OR ROTARY MOVEMENT, IT IS PROVIDED THAT THE DRILL BIT (1, 2, 3) IS DESIGNED TO BE DIVIDED IN ITS RADIAL DIRECTION AND THAT, ON THE EXTERNAL PERIPHERY OF THE DRILL BIT (3) ON THE END FACING AWAY FROM THE WORK FACE, AT LEAST ONE JACKET TUBE (5, 5') SURROUNDING THE DRILL ROD ASSEMBLY (9) IS POSITIVELY CONNECTED WITH THE DRILL BIT (1) VIA AT LEAST ONE COUPLING ELEMENT (6) FOR TENSILE ENTRAINMENT IN THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE DRILL HOLE (13).
