Abstract

A DISPOSABLE DIAPER INCLUDES A TOPSHEET 2, A BACKSHEET 3 AND AN ABSORBENT CORE 4 THEREBETWEEN WHICH FRONT AND REAR WAIST REGION 20, 22 AND A CROTCH REGION 21. THE REAR WAIST REGION 22 IS FORMED WITH A FIRST ZONE 23 SPACED FROM ONE OF ENDS 4B OF CORE 4 BY A PREDERTERMINED DIMENSION AND A SECOND ZONE 24 BETWEEN THE END 4B OF THE CORE 4 AND THE FIRST ZONE 23. THE SECOND ZONE 24 HAS A STIFFNESS LOWER THAN THAT OF A THIRD ZONE CONTAINING THE CORE 4. END PORTIONS 6C OF CUFFS 6 ARE FIXED TO THE FIRST ZONE 23 SO THAT THE FIRST ZONE 23 MAY BE DRAWN TOWARD THE THIRD ZONE 25 AS BARRIER CUFFS PROVIDED IN SIDES OF THE DIAPER 6 CONTRACT . (FIG. 1)
