Abstract

A CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING FORMERS USED IN A DIPPING PROCESS IN WHICH RUBBER PRODUCTS SUCH AS GLOVES ARE FORMED ON FORMERS (6). THE SYSTEM COMPRISES A CONVEYOR (2) AND HOLDERS (5) FOR SAID FORMERS (6), THE HOLDERS (5) ARRANGED IN TWO OR MORE TIERS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CONVEYOR (2). EACH HOLDER (5) IS COUPLED TO THE CONVEYOR (2) VIA A RESPECTIVE LINKAGE ARM (26) THAT ALLOWS FOR CHANGING THE ORIENTATION OF THE HOLDER (5) RELATIVE TO THE CONVEYOR (2), INDEPENDENTLY OF HOLDERS IN THE OR EACH OTHER TIER, TO FACILITATE ACCESS TO A FORMER (6) MOUNTED THEREON. THIS SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO INCREASE PRODUCTION OUTPUT CAPACITY IN COMPARISON WITH A CONVENTIONAL SINGLE-FORMERTIER CONVEYOR SYSTEM WITHOUT THE TIERS (12) HINDERING ACCESS TO THE FORMERS FOR PROCESSING OPERATIONS.
