Abstract
THERE IS PROVIDED A CROSS-FLOW FAN FOR AN INTERIOR UNIT OF AN AIR-CONDITIONER, IN WHICH AN AIR FLOW AMOUNT CAN BE INCREASED WHILE SUPPRESSING THE GENERATION OF AN ABNORMAL SOUND. THIS CONSTRUCTION CAN BE ACHIEVED BY VARYING A CHORD LENGTH OF BLADES PROVIDED BETWEEN DISKS OF AN IMPELLER OF THE CROSS-FLOW FAN. IN THE PRESENT INVENTION, THE PRODUCTION OF A BLADE SOUND, WHICH IS AURALLY OFFENSIVE, CAN BE PREVENTED, AND A HIGH AIR FLOW DESIGN CAN BE ACHIEVED.
