Abstract

A FLEXIBLE HOSE COMPRISES A RESIN-COATED STEEL WIRE (3) WHICH IS HELICALLY WOUND WITH A PREDETERMINED PITCH AND A TUBE WALL (5) FORMED BY THIN RESIN TAPE. THE RESIN TAPE IS HELICALLY WOUND AROUND AN OUTER PERIPHERY OF SAID RESINS COATED STEEL WIRE (3) WITH ONE OF FUSION-BONDING AND BONDING AT EACH PORTION WHERE SAID RESIN TAPE OVERLAPS ITSELF. THE RESIN-COATED WIRE (3) COATS A HARD STEEL WIRE WITH CHLORINE FREE THERMOPLASTIC SYNTHETIC RESIN MATERIAL. THE RESIN COATED WIRE (3) AND SAID TUBE WALL (5) ARE BONDED TOGETHER WITH ONE OF FUSION-BONDING AND A CHLORINE-FREE ADHESIVE. THE TUBE WALL (5) COMPRISES A MAIN PART (5A) AND AT LEAST ONE LINEAR PART (5B) WHICH ARE BONDED AND UNITED WITH FUSION-BONDING. THE MAIN PART (5A) IS MADE OF ONE OF AN ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER RESIN AND A RESIN MATERIAL CONTAINING ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER RESIN AS A MAIN MATERIAL. THE LINEAR PART (5B) IS MADE OF ONE OF A POLYETHYLENE RESIN AND A RESIN MATERIAL CONTAINING POLYETHYLENE RESIN AS A MAIN MATERIAL. THE LINEAR PART (5B) IS DISPOSED AND FORMED AROUND SAID OUTER PERIPHERY OF SAID RESIN-COATED STEEL WIRE (3).
