A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS OF SWITCHING DECT PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION FROM NORMAL TELEPHONY APPLICATIONS TO DECENTRALISED MODE WHERE IT APLLIES A FLOW OF MENUS WHICH ARE DISPLAYED ON THE SAID PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION, FOR USER TO OPERATE, PREFERABLY BY USING KEYPAD ON THE SAID PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION FOR FUNCTION SELECTION OR FOR CONFIRMATION WHILE THE SAID PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION IS CONNECTED TO THE FIXED RADIO TERMINATION. WHEN SWITCHING TO DECENTRALISED MODE, A PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION SELECTS ANOTHER PORTABLE RADIO TREMINATION AS A PARTNER TO COMMUNICATE WITH AFTER DECENTRALISATION, WHEREIN THE PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION BEING CALLED HAS THE CHOICE AND ABILITY OF ACCEPTING OR REJECTING THE SELECTION INITIALED BY THE CALLING PORTABLE RADIO TERMINATION.(FIGURE 3)
