A DENTIFRICE COMPOSITION COMPRISING XYLITOL IN ADMIXTURE WITH SODIUM POLYACRYLATE IS EFFECTIVE FOR PREVENTING DENTAL CARIES IN THAT IT ALLOWS XYLITOL TO CONTINUOSLY EXERT THE EFFECT OF INHIBITING DENTAL CARIES-CAUSING BACTERIA WHEN DAILY APPLIED TWO OR THREE TIMES BY TOOTH BRUSHING.
