A PILE DRIVING APARATUS FOR APPLYING CONTINOUS HYDRAULIC PRESSURE FOR DRIVING A PILE INTO THE GROUND COMPRISING A VERTICALLY ARRANGED HYDRAULIC DRIVE MEANS (10) WHICH COMPRISES OF MULTIPLE TELESCOPIC SECTIONS BEING COMBINATION OF AT LEAST TWO SERIALLY ARRANGED HYDRAULIC UNITS (20,30) WHEREIN THE SECOND HYDRAULIC UNITS IS ATTACHED TO THE END OF FIRST TELESCOPIC PISTON (22).IN THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT, A THIRD HYDRAULIC UNIT (70) IS PROVID INVERTED AND PARALLEL TO SECOND HYDRAULIC UNIT (30) WHEREIN ITS TELESCOPIC PISTON IS EXTENDABLE DOWNWARDLY, AND WHEREIN THE RAM MEANS IS MOUNTED TO THE DISTAL END OF SAID TELESCOPIC PISTON. IN THIS CONFIGURATION OF THREE HYDRAULIC UNITS, A LONGER PILE MAY BE COMPLETELY DRIVEN INTO THE SOIL IN A SINGLE COMBINED DRIVE WITHOUT THE USE OF DOLLY. A MOBILE UNIT OF THE APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR DRIVING ARE ALSO DISCLOSED.(FIGURE 2)
