Abstract
DISCLOSED IS A MOTOR PROTECTOR FOR PROTECTING A MOTOR CONNECTED IN A CIRCUIT FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE MOTOR. THE MOTOR PROTECTOR INCLUDES A FIRST SWITCH AND A SECOND SWITCH. THE FIRST SWITCH INCLUDES A HEAT-ACTUATOR AND IS CONNECTED IN THE CIRCUIT. UPON MOVEMENT OF THE HEAT--ACTUATOR, THE FIRST SWITCH OPENS AND CLOSES THE CIRCUIT. THE SECOND SWITCH IS CONNECTED IN THE CIRCUIT AND INCLUDES FIRST AND SECOND HEAT-ACTUATORS FOR OPENING AND CLOSING THE CIRCUIT. THE FIRST AND SECOND SWITCHES ARE ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED IN SERIES, AND THE ACTUATION TEMPERATURES OF THE FIRST AND SECOND HEAT-ACTUATORS OF THE SECOND SWITCH ARE DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER.FIGURE 2.
