IN AN ?ENGINE-STOPPING/VEHICLE-MOVING MODE? IN WHICH AN ENGINE (200) OF THE VEHICLE DURING RUNNING IS STOPPED IN RESPONSE TO A SPECIFIC VEHICLE STOPPING CONDITION AND THE ENGINE (200) HAVING BEEN STOPPED IS RESTARTED IN RESPONSE TO A SPECIFIC VEHICLE MOVING OPERATION, IDLING DURING STOPPAGE OF THE VEHICLE IS PROHIBITED IN AN USUAL STATE (UNDER A FIRST OPERATIONAL PATTERN (4)), AND IF THE VEHICLE STOPPING TIME IN A STATE IN WHICH THE HEAD LAMP REMAINS TURNED ON EXCEEDS A SPECIFIC TIME, THAT IS, A CONDITION (3) IS ESTABLISHED, THE FIRST OPERATIONAL PATTERN (4) IS SHIFTED TO A SECOND OPERATIONAL PATTERN (5), WITH A RESULT THAT THE PROHIBITION OF IDLING IS RELEASED.
