Abstract

A CONNECTOR (C1,C3) WHICH CAN BE MANUFACTURED EFFICIENTLY AT LOW COST. IT IS FORMED BY FORMING AN INSULATING MEMBER (13) IN A CYLINDRICAL EXTERNAL TERMINAL (12) AND INSERTING AN INTERNAL TERMINAL (14) INTO THE INSULATING TERMINAL SO AS TO EXTEND ALONG ITS AXIS. THE EXTERNAL TERMINAL (12) IS FORMED BY BLANKING A PLATE MEMBER (12’), WHILE FORMING RIBS (11) EXTENDING ALONG A SINGLE HELICAL LINE ON THE PLATE MEMBER (12’) BY PRESSING, AND THEN BY FORMING THE PLATE MEMBER (12’) INTO A CYLINDRICAL SHAPE.THE INSULATING MEMBER (13), IS FORMED IN THIS EXTERNAL TERMINAL (12) BY INSERT MOLDING. THE INTERNAL TERMINAL (14) IS INSERTED IN THIS INSULATING MEMBER (13).(FIGURE 1)
