A DISPOSABLE DIAPER WHICH COMPRISES A RECTANGULAR DIAPER BODY INCLUDING A LIQUID-PERMEABLE TOPSHEET, A LIQUID-IMPERMEABLE BACKSHEET AND A LIQUID-RETENTIVE ABSORBENT MEMBER AND PROVIDED WITH A LEG PORTION ELASTIC MEMBER, AND A STRIP ELASTIC MEMBER-ATTACHED SHEET PROVIDED WITH A GIRTH PORTION ELASTIC MEMBER, THE ELASTIC MEMBER-ATTACHED SHEET BEING DISPOSED AT LEAST ON AN UPPER PORTION CONSTITUTING A BACK SIDE PORTION OF THE DIAPER BODY SUCH THAT OPPOSITE SIDE PORTIONS THEREOF EXTEND OUTWARDLY FROM OPPOSITE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE EDGES OF THE DIAPER BODY, THE LEG PORTION ELASTIC MEMBER COMPRISING ONE PAIR OF FIRST LEG PORTION ELASTIC MEMBERS DISPOSED ALONG A LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE DIAPER BODY, AND ONE PAIR OF SECOND LEG PORTION ELASTIC MEMBERS DISPOSED INWARDLY OF THE ONE PAIR FIRST LEG PORTION ELASTIC MEMBERS IN A WIDTH DIRECTION OF THE DIAPER BODY, AND WHICH IS SUPERB IN OPEN AND FREE FEELING AT THE REGIONS AROUND THE WEARER'S LEGS, IN WEARING PERCEPTION, FUTHER IN PRECEPTION OF FITNESS AND IN PREVENTION OF LEAKAGE.(FIG.1)
