Abstract
A PIPE JOINT COMPRISES A CIRCULAR REINFORCING MEMBER (6) EMBEDDED INSIDE A HOLLOW AND CYLINDRICAL PIPE JOINT’S BASIC BODY (1) MADE FROM AN ELASTIC MATERIAL, AND THIS REINFORCING MEMBER (6) IS SUPPORTED BY A SUPPORT LEVER (7) DETACHABLY SET THERETO IN THE AXIAL DIRECTION, SO THAT, EVEN WHEN AN INTERNAL PRESSURE DUE TO A FLUID IS LOADED TO THE PIPE JOINT’S BASIC BODY (1), A LARGE REACTION FORCE CAUSING AN UNDESIRABLE LOAD TO PIPING IS NOT GENERATED, AND BECAUSE OF THE FEATURES, SUCH TROUBLES AS DROPPING OF FLANGES FOR DONNECTION AND A NARROW TEMPERATURE RANGE FOR ITS USE NEVER OCCUR.
