TO PROVIDE A STOPPER OF A SHIFT CAM FEED CAPABLE OF EFFECTING MANUFACTURING COST REDUCTION.A STOPPER PLATE (17) FITTED FIXEDLY TO ONE END OF A SHIFT CAM CONSTITUTING A GEAR SHIFT MECHANISM, FOR TURNING SAID SHIFT CAM BY A PREDETERMINED ANGLE AT A TIME THROUGH SHIFTING OPERATIONS, WHEREIN A PLURALITY OF CAM FACES (17A-0 THROUGH 17A-5) ARE FORMED ON THE CIRCUMFERENTIAL SURFACE THEREOF BY PRESS FORMING OF A METAL PLATE, AND A PLURALITY OF PINS (17C) PROJECTING FROM THE END FACE THEREOF ARE PROVIDED INTEGRALLY.ACCORDING TO THIS INVENTION, THE STOPPER PLATE (17) IS FORMED INTEGRALLY BY PRESS OF A METAL SO THAT MANUFACTURING COST REDUCTION OF THE STOPPER PLATE (17) CAN BE EFFECTED BT THE REDUCTION IN THE EXPENSE FOR DIES AND THE NUMBER OF MANUFACTURING PROCESSES.
