Abstract
A RAW SUGAR MATERIAL FOR FERMENTATION, WHICH CAN BE UTILIZED TO A WIDE VARIETY OF FERMENTATION TYPES, IS PRODUCED FROM A VARIETY OF RAW STARCH MATERIALS, WHILE SUPPRESSING THE AMOUNT OF WATER TO BE USED TO MINIMUM WITH NO SUBSTANTIAL GENERATION OF LIQUID WASTE OR SOLID WASTE. THE RAW STARCH MATERIALS ARE GROUND AND SEPARATED INTO A LIGHT UPPER FRACTION AND A HEAVY LOWER RFACTION BY SEPARATION PROCESSES SUCH AS COMPRESSED AIR FLOATING SEPARATION, AND THE LOWER PART FRACTION IS REPEATEDLY TREATED WITH GRINDING AND SEPARATION PROCESSES, AND FROM THE FINALLY SEPARATED LOWER FRACTION IS RECOVERED A RAW SUGAR MATERIAL FOR FERMENTATION BY A HYDROLYSIS PROCESS. THE SEPARATED UPPER FRACTION IS USED AS FEEDS OR FERTILIZERS. THE FILTRATE OR SUPERNATANT GENERATED VIA THE SEPARATION PROCESS IS RECYCLED TO THE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING SEPARATION PROCESS OR GRINDING PROCESS, WHERE THE FILTRATE OR SUPERNATANT IS REUSED.
