Abstract
A PROCESS FOR COATING UREA COMPRISING MIXING AND STIRRING UREA AND THE MICRONUTRIENT ELEMENTS IN WATER AND ADDING COLLOID SOLUTION INTO THE ABOVE MIXTURE. THE COATING SOLUTION IS THEN SPRAYED ONTO THE UREA GRANULES. THE MICRONUTRIENT ELEMENTS ARE BORON, COPPER, IRON, MAGNESIUM, MANGANESE, AND ZINC AND THE SLAT IS SULPHATE. PARTICLED UREA IN WHICH AT LEAST THE SURFACE PORTIONS OF SAID PARTICLES HAVE A MICRONUTRIENT (FERROUS, MAGNESIUM, MANGANESE, ZINC, COPPER, BORON) INCORPORATED THEREWITH TO THE EXTENT THAT SAID PARTICLES DO NOT SUBSTANTIALLY CAKE UPON STANDING WITH SAID COATING SOLUTION BEING PRESENT IN THE RANGE OF 0.6 TO 0.8 PERCENT BY WEIGHT OF SAID UREA.
