A RATCHET WRENCH WITH A REPLACEABLE HANDLE MEMBER INCLUDES AN ELONGATED HANDLE MEMBER (20, 20', 20' '), A CYLINDRICAL HEAD HOUSING (10, 10', 10' ') COUPLED TO THE HANDLE MEMBER (20,20', 20' '), AND A TORQUE TRANSMITTING MECHANISM (13) MOUNTED WITHIN THE HEAD HOUSING (10, 10', 10''). THE HEAD HOUSING (10, 10', 10' ') INCLUDES A SOCKET SHAFT (11) WHICH PROTRUDES AXIALLY FROM THE HEAD HOUSING (10, 10', 10' ') AND WHICH IS ADAPTED TO BE COUPLED WITH A WRENCH SOCKET. THE ELONGATED HANDLE MEMBER (20, 20', 20' ') HAS A RECTANGULAR SOCKET (21) AT AN END THEREOF. THE CYLINDRICAL HEAD HOUSING (10, 10', 10' ') INCLUDES A CONNECTING SHAFT (12) WHICH PROJECTS RADIALLY OUTWARD THEREFROM AND WHICH HAS A RECTANGULAR CROSS-SECTION. THE CONNECTING SHAFT (12) IS PERPENDICULAR TO THE SOCKET SHAFT (11) AND HAS A SPRING-BIASED BALL (B) THAT PROJECTS FROM A SIDE WALL OF THE CONNECTING SHAFT (12) SO AS TO BE ENGAGED DETACHABLY WITHIN THE RECTANGULAR SOCKET (21) OF THE HANDLE MEMBER (20, 20', 20'').(FIG. 3)
