A SNAP CLOSURE OR A SCREW CLOSURE WITH A MULTI-START THREAD POSSESSES AUXILIARY RETAINING ELEMENTS (10) WITH WHICH SAID CLOSURE CAN BE HELD IN BOTH AXIAL DIRECTIONS ON A CONTAINER MOUTH (8) INTENDED FOR CLOSURE BEFORE THE RETAINING ELEMENTS (6) OF THE CLOSURE COME INTO ENGAGEMENT WITH THE RETAINING ELEMENTS (7) OF THE CONTAINER MOUTH (8) AND CLOSE SAID CONTAINER MOUTH (8) IN A SEALING POSITION. THE PRESS-ON FORCE (F1) FOR THE AUXILIARY RETAINING ELEMENTS (10) IS LESS THAN THE CLOSURE FORCE (F2). THE AUXILIARY RETAINING ELEMENTS (10) PREVENT JUMPING OFF OR TILTING OF THE CLOSURE IN A BOTTLING PLANT. IN PLACE OF A CLOSURE (1), A CONTAINER MOUTH (8) CAN ALSO BE EQUIPPED WITH AUXILIARY RETAINING ELEMENTS (30), WHEREIN A CONVENTIONAL CLOSURE CAN BE USED.@@(FIG. 1)
