THIS INVENTION RELATES TO AN IMPROVED COMPOSITION AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING INSECT REPELLENT, PARTICULARLY MOSQUITO REPELLENT. THE INVENTION DISCLOSES TWO IMPROVED COMPOSITIONS IN WHICH THE TWO MAJOR COMPONENTS AND QUANTITIES ARE CAMPHOR AND CITRONELLA OIL. THE INVENTION IS MADE AVAILABLE IN THE FORM OF SOLIDIFIED GEL AND PACKED IN COVERED DISH CONTAINERS. THE INVENTION ACHIEVES ITS REPELLENT EFFECT BY ITS NATURAL EVAPORATION AT NORMAL ROOM TEMPERATURE OF 25 TO 40 DEGREES CENTIGRADE. EACH PACKAGE WITH ITS CONTENT WEIGHS ROUGHLY 20 GRAMS, AND IS EFFECTIVE FOR AN AREA OF 9 SQUARE METERS. IT IS EFFECTIVE CONTINUOUSLY FOR 25 TO 30 DAYS, OR 600 TO 720 HOURS. A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING EACH OF THE TWO IMPROVED INSECT REPELLENT COMPOSITION IS ALSO DISCLOSED.
