Abstract

AN IMPROVED WEIGHT AND GROWTH STIMULANT FOR DOMESTICATED ANIMALS SUCH AS CATTLE, PIGS AND SHEEP IS COMPRISED OF AN ANABOLIC AGENT THAT IS SUBCUTANEOUSLY ADMINISTERED IN THE FORM OF A DUAL RELEASE IMPLANT FORMULATION. INCREASED GAINS ARE PARTICULALRY IMPROVED WHEN ZERANOL IS ADMINISTERED IN AN IMMEDIATE-RELEASE AND CONTROLLED-RELEASE FORMULATION WHICH ALLOWS FOR A ONETIME DOSAGE INJECTION.
