Abstract

A STOPPER ARRANGEMENT FOR A DRAWER OF FURNITURE INCLUDES A RUNNER SYSTEM COMPRISING A FIXED GUIDE (1) BEING ATTACHED TO THE INNER SIDEWALLS OF THE FURNITURE MEMBER, AN OUTER PULL OUT CHANNEL (40) FOR SUPPORTING AND BEING THE GUIDE FOR THE DRAWER MEMBER, IN WHICH IT IS ATTACHED TO THE SIDEWALLS OF THE DRAWER MEMBER, THE INTERMEDIATE PULL OUT CHANNEL (30) BEING SLIDABLY DISPOSED BETWEEN THE FIXED GUIDE AND THE INTERMEDIATE PULL OUT CHANNEL. THE PRIMARY STOPPER (11) IS DISPOSED ON THE INTERMEDIATE PULL OUT CHANNEL (30), SO AS TO LIMIT OR DECELERATE THE TRAVEL PATH OF THE OUTER PULL OUT CHANNEL WHILE THE SECONDARY STOPPER (10) IS PREFERABLY MOUNTED ON THE INTERMEDIATE PULL OUT CHANNEL TO SUBSTANTIALLY STOP FURTHER SLIDING MOVEMENT OF THE RUNNER SYSTEM. IN THIS MANNER, THE DRAWER WILL BE PREVENTED FROM UNDESIRABLE DAMAGE IN THE EVENT OF EXCESSIVE LOADING.(FIG 2)
