Abstract
IN A PAIR OF GOGGLES, PARTICULARLY A PAIR OF SAFETY GOGGLES, HAVING PADDED CONTACT AREAS IN THE NOSE AND/OR EAR AREA, WHEREIN TE PADDING IS REALIZED BY MEANS OF A BUBBLE-LIKE CONVEX, RELATIVELY SOFT PLASTIC MATERIAL WHICH SPANS A GAP IN A RELATIVELY HARD BASE MATERIAL, IT IS PROVIDED, WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING USER COMFORT AND ACHIEVING SECURE DISPLACEMENT-PROOF CONTACT, THAT THE BUBBLE-LIKE CONVEXITY COMPRISES A PLURALITY OF HOLLOW RIB-LIKE PROJECTIONS WHICH ARE OPEN AT THEIR LOWER ENDS AND EXTEND PARALLEL TO EACH OTHER AND AT A DISTANCE FROM ONE ANOTHER.(FIG 1)
