IN THE GALVANIZED STEEL SHEET, AT LEAST A SURFACE MODIFIED LAYER AND A TOPCOAT LAYER ARE FORMED ON A ZINC-BASED PLATED LAYER. THE SURFACE MODIFIED LAYER CONTAINS 1 TO 30 MG/M² OF SiO₂ BEING CONVERTED AS Si,0.5 TO 15 MG/M² OF P,AND 0.4 TO 10 MG/M² OF A1. A NON-CHROMATE TYPE SURFACE TREATED GALVANIZED STEEL SHEET EXCELLENT PARTICULARLY IN THE RESISTANCES TO TAPE PEELING AND FURTHER TO TAPE PEELING AFTER ALKALI DEGREASING CAN BE PROVIDED.
