THE FRP TENSION MEMBER MUST BE SUCH THAT THE AMOUNT OF STYRENE MONOMER REMAINING IN THE FRP PORTION IS 0.018 WT% OR LESS (WITH RESPECT TO THE FRP PORTION). WHEN THE REMAINING STYRENE MONOMER EXCEEDS THESE AMOUNTS, IT COMES INTO CONTACT WITH THE MAIN BODY COVERING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN IN MOLTEN STATE DURING THE MAIN BODY COVERING IN A DROP OPTICAL FIBER CABLE MANUFACTURING PROCESS, LEADING TO AN ABNORMALITY SUCH AS FOAMING IN THE COVERED PORTION, A MAIN BODY COVERING PORTION AND THE LIKE OCCURS DUE TO VOPORIZATION OF THE REMAINING STYRENE MONOMER AND THE LIKE.
