Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR 5 ROASTING COFFEE BEANS (2) AND A COFFEE BEAN ROASTER (1) USING THE SAME, WHICH PERFORMS THE ROASTING OF THE COFFEE BEANS (2) TO IMPROVE THE TASTE AND FLAVOR OF THE COFFEE IN COMPARISON WITH CONVENTIONAL HOT WIND BLOWING TYPE ROASTING OR DIRECT FIRING TYPE ROASTING. THE COFFEE BEAN 10 ROASTER (1) OF THE PRESENT INVENTION COMPRISES A SEMI- CYLINDRICAL CERAMIC DOME (32) DISPOSED IN AN OVEN (30), AND HAVING A PREDETERMINED THICKNESS AND A BURNING DEVICE (31) MOUNTED AT ONE SIDE THEREIN, A ROTATABLE ARM (20) SUPPORTED BY MEANS OF A HINGE (21) AT ONE SIDE OF THE 15 OVEN (30) AND ROTATING HORIZONTALLY, AND A SLIDER (24) CONNECTED TO A DISTAL END OF THE ROTATABLE ARM (20) BY MEANS OF A ROTATION JOINT (22) AND PROVIDED WITH A ROTATION ROD (15) AT THE INSIDE SO AS TO SIIDABLY ROTATE AND MOVE IN THE LINEAR DIRECTION, THE ROTATION ROD (15) 20 BEING CONNECTED AT ONE END THEREOF TO A MOTOR (17) AND CONNECTED AT THE OTHER END THEREOF TO A ROASTING TUB (10), SO THAT THE ROASTING TUB (10) ROTATED BY THE ROTATION ROD (15), WHICH IS ROTATED BY THE MOTOR (17), CAN ROAST THE GREEN BEANS (2) WHILE ROTATING IN AN INNER SPACE OF THE 25 CERAMIC DOME (32) TO THEREBY RE-BURN AND REMOVE THE GAS GENERATED FROM THE BURNING.
